Mobile laboratory

To conduct geotechnical lab-analyses outside of the laboratory, i.e. offshore and abroad, Geolab Wiertsema, in collaboration with Marine Sampling Holland, has a fully functioning mobile laboratory.   
The 20ft shipping container is fully utilisable all over the world, both onshore as well as offshore, and only needs an external power supply.

The mobile laboratory is  equipped to conduct (nearly) all index- and classification tests similar to the onshore laboratory, e.g. descriptions, handvane, pocket penetro, atterberg limits, moisture content and even thermal conductivity, and according to the same standards.
